Philip's First Real Haircut

Uncle Jouky sent me a dvd of our Michigan trip so I was able to get some pics back! Yay! :)

As you can tell from the recent pics, Philip got his hair cut! The curls were starting to look like a mullet, Uncle Chow Chow (that's Uncle Stinky, or Uncle Wen to the rest of us... haha) said, so on our last day in Michigan, we decided to chop off the hockey hair. Philip did have his head shaved when he was a just a month old, but this was the first time we actually took him to a professional kiddie barber to get his hair cut. Carnival Cuts was the place courtesy of a coupon Auntie Eileen gave us (children's cuts are pricey!). Well, Philip had just woken up from his nap, so he was definitely NOT in the mood to be a willing participant. My poor kid cried the whole time but the barber was incredibly patient and got the job done (I guess you have to be in his business). In the end, the curls were gone but I think a really cute toddler cut remained, and even Paul, who absolutely adored the curls, admitted the new cut looked better. My baby is looking all grown up now and ready for the junior room in September! :)
