Auntie Joanna and Uncle Stan came to visit Paige on Sunday evening to round out our busy weekend. Thanks for the visit, guys, and we look forward to you joining the Duong baby boom someday soon too! :)

Marvel Mania

After coming in from riding his bike, Philip wanted to play with his Marvel characters.  I never realized how many he actually had until Paul and Philip started standing them up together.  This collection is becoming quite insane and there are still so many more characters we have yet to purchase or have yet to come out.  If you had trouble naming all the characters from the last Marvel pics, you'll have even more trouble now with the expanding collection since the characters are getting so obscure. Google is my best friend! :)

P.S. Can you find the one non-Marvel character that Philip snuck into this collection? :)

Riding My Bike

It was a nice day so after lunch Philip headed outside to ride his bike.  Yes, he still has training wheels on and yes, the bike is too small for him.  These are two things Philip doesn't want to change right now and Paul and I are both too tired to fight it.  I think he'll just do it on his own terms and come up one day and ask us to remove the training wheels and get a bigger bike... at least that's what I'm hoping for, anyway. :)

A Visit From the Taylor-Hohertz Family

The Taylor-Hohertz family came over on Sunday afternoon to visit Paige.  They brought over a wonderfully meaty chicken pot pie for lunch which I thoroughly enjoyed as well (can you tell I missed eating meat?).  Liam and Anna were absolutely in love with Paige and loved holding, touching, and kissing her the whole time.  Philip and Liam are best buds so, as Paige gets a little older, I'm sure Anna and Paige will become good friends too! :)

A Visit From the neXus Crew

Rafi and Olivia along with the Ramlogan family came to visit our little bundle of joy on Saturday evening. (I still call us the "neXus Crew" although I must admit we're really not a "crew" anymore with so many people moving out of town!).  Since I had a rough pregnancy which made me become a vegetarian for the last few months, I was absolutely thrilled to hear that they were cooking us a steak dinner!!!  It was absolutely delicious and I thank everyone, especially Yen Vi, for such a wonderful meal.  Thanks for the fun visit and I look forward to having lots more meat in my diet from now on! :)

T-Ball Season Begins

We signed Philip up for T-Ball this year and today was the introductory meeting where they picked up their jerseys and caps and got to meet the other players on their team.  Philip is now a proud member of the Bloordale Baseball team and is excited to play their first game on Tuesday! :)

A Visit From Grandma and Uncle Michael

Grandma and Uncle Michael came over to see Paige for the first time (Grandpa was sick so he couldn't make it).  Sandra loved holding her new granddaughter and looks forward to seeing her all dolled up in pink with pretty ribbons and bows and such.. haha.  Michael was very thoughtful and bought a Lego Superhero toy for Philip too which he built right away, of course.  Thanks for the nice visit and we hope Grandpa is feeling better soon!
