I Love My Bobblin' Band Bouncer

I assembled the Fisher Price Bobblin' Band Bouncer for Philip today and he is in absolute heaven. This bouncer flashes lights and plays music whenever he kicks his feet. I already knew my son was a happy baby, but he is smiling and laughing non-stop now. It looks like I may have a soccer player on my hands! Thanks for the great gift, Karen!

Two Months Old

Philip is already two months (and 4 days) old!!! Time really flies when you're having fun with your baby! Here are his stats:

Birth: 7 lb 11 oz, 50 cm
1 month: 9 lb 9 oz, 54 cm
2 months: 11 lb 10 oz, 58 cm

You can see that he's definitely the son of a math teacher as he is growing at a very steady pace!


He loves to smile and laugh with us now (or is it at us?) and he's a thorough expert at sucking his index and middle fingers (at the same time!). What will he be up to next??? ;)

Daddy's Little Boy

Philip and Paul love spending time together. When our baby's not breastfeeding or being changed (which happens often), you will most likely find him snuggled comfy in Paul's arms. The pictures say it all.

The First Hair Cut

Philip likes to sleep a lot, so much so that he developed a huge bald spot on the back of his head! That combined with the complete lack of hair on top made for a really funny hairdo (see above) so we decided that our "little old man" needed a new look. In honour of Paul's favourite Star Trek captain, Cisco, here is our little one completely bald and ready for summer! Cool look, eh?

Aunties & Uncles

Auntie Eileen & Uncle Jouky came all the way from Michigan just to visit us! On the other hand, Auntie Ami & Uncle Daniel babysit all the time, so next to mommy and daddy, they're the ones Philip sees the most!

Auntie Vanny and cousin Brandon wish Philip a happy 1 month birthday. MIA is Uncle Foon! (He was probably cooking something good for all of us to eat!) Auntie Joanna took time out of her hectic real estate schedule to say hi. She's going to make lots and lots of money to help fund Philip's education, right? ;)

Uncle Michael proudly shows off his new nephew. He visits whenever he can too!

Meet the Grandparents

Grandma and Step-Grandpa Crowe visit Philip in the hospital. This is grandkid #2 for them (granddaughter Morgan lives in London, England). They are very good at spoiling him but Philip loves every minute of it!





Grandpa and Grandma Duong come by to visit their 4th grandson (no granddaughters yet!). Needless to say, with the Chinese culture, they couldn't be happier!

Paul and I just love the newest addition to our family and can't get enough of him. He's such a bundle of joy and has so far been a really easy baby to take care of (*knock on wood*). Our dog Patch is even great around him! In two simple words: Philip ROCKS! :)

Meet Philip Liam O'Leary!

I've finally entered the world of blogging since family and friends would like to see updated pictures of Philip on a regular basis. Soooooo... here goes nothing!

Philip was born on April 18, 2006 @ 8:27 AM. He weighed in at 7 lb, 11 oz and 50 cm in height. Paul and I are thrilled to become proud new parents!

Here is my favourite first photo of him from the hospital. He looks so peaceful! :)
