Day 1: San Diego Zoo

We spent our first full day in San Diego at the San Diego Zoo of course. There were so many great exhibits but the highlights of the day for us were seeing the pandas roaming, polar bears swimming, all the primates playing, a jaguar eating its lunch, and, best of all, a gigantic hippo swimming! The zoo was everything we had hoped for and so much more. It's also huge huge huge so we'll definitely be back again to see the rest of the zoo another day! :)
