Day 6: Balboa Park

We spent our last day at Balboa Park in San Diego. First up, we went an In 'n Out burger joint to see what the fuss was all about. The burger was really good, but not "to die for" in my books! We then did a little shopping before heading to Balboa Park where, unbenownst to us, was the Cherry Blossom Festival! We wondered why it was so crowded! The trip was well worth it though as we saw some great architecture, lovely landscaping, a really cool art market, and lots of street performers. The highlight for Philip was definitely the balloon artist though who made some amazing balloon creations, including an Iron Man (of course) for Philip that he loved so much he took it with him on the plane! It was a fun and relaxing March Break in San Diego and just what the doctor ordered. Thanks for an amazing trip, Paul and Philip... I really needed it! :)
