My First Trip to the ROM

Philip is a huge fan of dinosaurs and Paul wanted to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit so a trip to the Royal Ontario Museum was in order. The first stop was of course the dinosaur exhibit where we got to see a huge display of dinosaur fossils. Philip and Paul were able to name a lot of them but I had to read all the plaques... hehe. Philip was a little disappointed though that they weren't actual moving dinosaurs with skin and all which we found quite amusing. Another impressive exhibit was the rocks and minerals one where the displays were amazing but unfortunately Philip couldn't touch anything. Overall, the visit was great, but we both decided that Philip was a bit too young for the ROM, and hands-on museums would be much better at this age. Maybe next year or the year after he might have more of an appreciation for history like his daddy? :)
