Philip's 2nd Birthday with Family

It was Philip's 2nd birthday on Friday, April 18th, so boy were we in for a busy weekend! Paul and I decided that our house could not accommodate both our family and friends, so we crazily decided to have not one, but TWO separate celebrations for our special guy. We started off the festivities by celebrating his birthday with both sides of the family on Saturday. Philip had fun playing with cousins Winston and Brandon while the adults enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner chowing down on ham, ribs, and an assortment of other tasty appetizers. A Curious George ice cream cake (mmmm, Dairy Queen!) topped off the meal with what was an overall great time catching up with family. It's always nice to get both sides of our families together at the same time as well (A Chi-rish get-together, as Joanna would call it... haha). Happy 2nd birthday, Philip, with love from all your family. Philip, his mommy and his daddy thank everyone for all the really generous gifts too! :)
