A Long Weekend at Calabogie Lodge

For the Labour Day long weekend, we invited the Ramlogan family to join us at the Calabogie Lodge. Calabogie is a little town about an hour away from Ottawa and we booked a lovely 3-day stay at the lodge resort located there. The 3+ hour drive there and back was surprisingly smooth with three kids and the vacation itself was very relaxing. We went to the beach, played in the playground, took strolls around the lake, and swam in the indoor pool. Wen was able to join us for an evening as well and even made us some yummy home-made ice cream! All in all, it was a fantastic trip with great friends and a really nice end to my summer vacation. :)
