Our day at Niagara Falls consisted of the Bird Kingdom and the Maid of the Mist. Since we didn't get a chance to see many birds at the San Diego Zoo (other than Cody the parrot at the hotel and the lorikeet feeding), we decided to check out the Niagara Falls version called Bird Kingdom. It turned out to be quite the nice place where a lot of birds were able to roam free. Philip and Paul were able to feed the lorikeets again, it had a reptile part where Philip was able to pet a lizard, and we even witnessed a fruit bat feeding which was cool. Next up was none other than the Maid of the Mist. Philip loved going near the Falls and Paul and I were surprised about how close to the Falls we actually got this time. The ponchos weren't much help as we pretty much got soaked but it was a really fun experience. We had such a great time and we'll definitely have to hit the Falls again (and perhaps the cheesy part of Clifton Hill) the next time I feel the itch to have a quick getaway! :)
