Part II: Animal Kingdom

The first theme park stop was Animal Kingdom since it was the closest and we were already in the "Animal Kingdom" spirit. Once there, we quickly fell in love with the magic that is Disney. The displays were amazing and the Tree of Life was really impressive. Disney sure does know how to do theme parks well! My favourite was the parade of really interesting costumes and designs. Philip, on the other hand, fell completely in love with the character signings. It all started when he spotted Mickey and the gang and it went downhill from there. We ended up standing in many lines to get a pic with the various characters and their respective autographs, so much so that we missed a few of the shows! Oh well, it was Philip's trip really, so we went with the flow and still caught some shows and went on some rides too! :)
