Canada's Wonderland - Opening Day 2010

Just like last year, we decided to head to Wonderland on opening day. It turned out to be a fantastic idea since the threat of rain kept everyone away! Not only did it not rain, but since the park was practically empty, Philip rode on all his favourite rides multiple times, and he rode on the Ghoster Coaster for the first time this year an impressive seven times!!! Paul also got to ride on the "big boy" rides and did all of the ones he wanted, including Behemoth and The Bat, in about an hour which is unheard of on a busy day. Needless to say, my guys are roller coaster freaks, and the fact that Philip really loves them definitely comes from Paul's genes (I got really dizzy riding the Ghoster Coaster just once, but kept going again and again for my little guy). The big change this year is the absence of the Nickelodeon characters and the introduction of the more obscure Snoopy for little kids (Philip: "Who's that?" haha), but otherwise the rides are all pretty much the same, just rebranded. I'm pretty sure now that Philip can ride some more thrilling roller coasters there will be a lot more trips to Wonderland this year!
