We took Philip to the Toronto Zoo for a second time on free Teacher's Day. Surprisingly, it wasn't packed at all and it turned out to be a fantastic day because the cooler weather allowed all the animals to get up close and personal with us! From the hippo, elephant, and grizzly bear searching for food to the baboons, gorillas and orangutans fooling around, it was an all-around fun trip for everyone. The coolest part for me (aside from the primates of course) was Philip showing his Leap toy to all the animals, and the nursing baby baboon being absolutely fascinated by it! You never know what you're going to see on any given day at the zoo, but this trip was a definite success!!
