My 31st Birthday

I was hoping to have a quiet celebration with Paul and Philip for my birthday since I've been pretty stressed with work the last month. As luck would have it, my parents decided to throw a massive party for me because they said there was something significant about a married woman turning 31. What that is I have yet to figure out, but all I know is that my quiet party of three turned into an huge party of over 50 guests. Yes, that's right, my parents invited my entire extended family (and 50 is not even half of them!) over to their place to celebrate my birthday! The plus sides? It was the long weekend, it wasn't at my house, I got way more presents than I ever expected, and my loving family went through all the effort to cook all the food, which included lots of shrimp and lobster, for everyone! Thanks mom for going through all that trouble to make my 31st a special day for me. It was definitely a big birthday bash, and one I won't soon forget! :)
