A Week at the Cottage

Our family headed up to a cottage in Minden Hills for a week. The cottage was really nice and it was situated right on a big lake. Philip had fun on the beach and in the water while Paul and I got some much needed rest and relaxation. We also had a few visitors join us during our stay: Daniel, Ami and their friend Dac came up on both weekends to enjoy the fishing, Paul came up for a couple of days to enjoy the water, and Rafi and Wen came up for the evening for some kayaking and swimming as well. We also headed over to the Sayers for lunch to catch up and check out their cozy new cottage... it almost made Paul and I want a cottage of our own... hehe. It was a very laid-back and slow vacation overall and just what the doctor ordered after our hectic trip to New York. Thanks to the Pykes for kindly lending us their cottage and I look forward to our next family trip at a lodge in late August! :)
