My Marvel Addict

Philip is a huge superhero fan, and by far his favourite is the Marvel Universe and Superhero Squad series. Paul and I have been more than happy to feed his crazy addiction and now he has collected quite the mass of characters. I'm not sure who loves them more, Philip or Paul, but luckily these are toys that the boys definitely won't grow out of! Huge kudos to you if you can name all the characters we have so far because I had to Google a few myself. :)

An October BBQ at the Bari Residence

With the gorgeous October weather, the Baris invited us over for a bbq on Thanksgiving Monday. We had a great time as usual and the kids had so much fun in the bouncy castle. Hopefully this amazing weather continues for a little bit longer (notice the summer clothing!) and we'll definitely enjoy it while it lasts! :)

My 35th Birthday

My birthday usually coincides with the Thanksgiving long weekend so it's always convenient to combine the two! We had both sides of our family over for a huge 20 lb turkey and 7 lb ham feast and we surprisingly ate most of it! hehe. Thank you everyone for celebrating my birthday with me and I'm especially thankful for my incredibly loving family. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

The "Everybody" Birthday

September and October are popular birthday months amongst our friends, so we had an "everybody" birthday celebration at Original's. The gathering is getting smaller and smaller each year but that didn't prevent us from having yummy wings and catching up. A special thanks to Karen for being extra generous and picking up the tab too! Happy September/October birthdays, everyone! :)

Another Visit to Centreville

We headed to Centreville yet again before it closed for the season, this time with the Bari family, the Peraza family and the Peraza-Zamora family. In total, there were nine kids (!!!) and they all had an absolute blast on all the rides as it clearly showed in their smiling faces. Yes, Centreville isn't as big as Wonderland, but the kids didn't care as they had an amazing day together and the adults really enjoyed themselves too. This is the first year we've been to Centreville, but it exceeded our expectations so I'm sure we'll be back again next year! :)

Siena's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Siena's 3rd birthday at her house with her family and friends. The big hits were the pinata (literally!) , the mask-decorating and a visit to the playground, but Siena especially enjoyed opening all her presents in front of everyone! Happy 3rd birthday, Siena! :)
