The Ramlogans' Summer BBQ

It had been awhile since we saw the neXus crew so it was nice to get together at the Ramlogan residence to catch up. Yen Vi said it was going to be a "small" bbq but of course she went all out and we had quite the feast. Thanks for a fantastic dinner, Yen Vi and Wendell, and Philip especially thanks you for building a great playground set for Natalie (and now him) to enjoy!

My First Movie: Toy Story 3

Philip has become a huge fan of Toy Story, especially Buzz Lightyear (thanks to me... "To infinity and beyond!"), so we thought it would be fun to take him to his first movie. Toy Story 3 was an obvious but great choice and we were thrilled that Philip loved watching it on the big screen too. I see a lot more movie outings in our future since the first one proved to be quite the success! :)

Hanging Out at the Playground

With the gorgeous weather, I've been walking Philip to daycare and back everyday (yes, it's really nice that his school/daycare is so close by I can do this!). Usually when I pick him up, he asks to head to the playground to play for a bit and of course I oblige. We do this quite often but on this particular day I had my camera on me so I thought I would take a few pics of my little guy having fun. Aren't playgrounds the greatest? :)

Happy Canada Day!

Not ones to sit at home on a holiday, we decided to head to Ribfest followed by Wonderland on Canada Day! First up were some scrumptious ribs and pulled pork at the annual Toronto Ribfest right by our place in Centennial Park. We then headed to Canada's Wonderland so Philip could enjoy the rides and roller coasters and course the fireworks to end off the night. Happy Canada Day, everyone, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

P.S. We've had a very busy June (and thus it took me awhile to update the blog) so you'll have to keep clicking "older posts" or use the blog archive to get all caught up. Enjoy the pics! :)
