Happy Father's Day! (and Grandmas' Birthdays!)

We had an incredibly busy Sunday celebrating both grandmas' birthdays as well as Father's Day! First up was Grandma Sandra's surprise 65th birthday party! Great Aunt Carol came all the way from California to join in on the festivities too. Sandra had a great time and the surprise of it all made it that much better. Although Grandpa Joe wasn't feeling well and couldn't make it, we celebrated Father's Day with Paul and Mario too. In the evening, we headed over to my parents' place to celebrate Po Po's birthday and Father's Day again! The usual gang was there and we enjoyed two more cakes as well! I hope all the daddies out there were treated really well today. Happy Father's Day and Happy Birthdays, Grandma and Po Po! :)

My Boys & Their BBQs

Ever since we got the bbq and patio set for Mother's Day, Paul uses it every chance he gets. I knew we would really enjoy it, but not nearly this much! Philip has developed quite the liking towards barbecuing as well. It allows him to go outdoors, hang out with daddy, and eat lots of yummy food. In fact, as we were garage sale shopping, we came across this bbq set that I had to get for him. It's the cutest thing, complete with a Bob the Builder "bbq belt", play food and actual smoke that comes out of the bbq, all for the whopping price of $2! Check out our little guy bbqing with daddy, imitating his every move. Like father like son I tell ya! :)

Grandpa's Big Birthday Bash

Cousins Morgan, Siena and their parents Casey and Sam came all the way from England to host Grandpa's big birthday bash! The celebration was held at his condo's party room and we all had a lovely time catching up with his side of the family. Philip got to play with Morgan again and meet adorable Siena for the first time too! Thanks for hosting such a great event, Casey, enjoy your brief visit here, and we hope you had a very happy birthday with your family, Grandpa Joe!!

Philip & Liam @ Reptilia

Liam and Philip's next playdate came up quickly as we decided to head to Reptilia for some snake and alligator fun! The boys loved every minute of it and even got to see an alligator feeding too! Lisa wasn't as thrilled with the snakes, but the rest of reptiles more than made up for it! Paul can't wait to see the crocodile or snake feeding the next time we visit, and I must agree that seeing a boa eat a 100 lb sheep would definitely be fascinating, if not just plain gross!
