Meet My Friend Liam

We went to visit Lisa, Jeremy and Liam tonight! Liam is one week younger than Philip but almost twice his size. His mommy and daddy also know karate so we'll make sure to stay in their good books! Luckily for us, nobody was kung-fu fighting tonight... hehe.

I'm a Water Baby!

Philip went swimming for the first time on the weekend and he absolutely loved it. He was smiling in the water and kicking up a storm. He's definitely a water baby! Future gold medallist, perhaps? ;)

My First Big Trip

We headed to Novi, Michigan for the long weekend to visit Auntie Eileen, Uncle Jouky and cousin Alexander. We did lots of shopping there (baby stuff is much cheaper in the States) and Philip even enjoyed his very first splash in the pool! Thanks to the Chang Family for a fantastic time and relaxing break!

Tummy Time

Philip is generally an easy-going baby, but one thing he really hates is tummy time. We try to do tummy time two or three times a day, but he barely lasts two minutes before whining or crying. Today, however, he finally figured out how to lift his head for awhile to enjoy the view more. Hopefully this is the start of a beautiful tummy time relationship!

The Infamous Onesie

This was originally Alexander's onesie that got passed down to Brandon and now onto Philip! We love all the hand-me-downs we get from his older cousins! Below are pics of Alexander wearing it in March 2005 and Philip wearing it today. I really like the saying on it... it's sooo true... hehe :)

Auntie Joanna's Birthday

We had another birthday party to attend on Sunday as Auntie Joanna turned 26! We had a great time at her condo and even enjoyed a long walk along the harbourfront. Overall, it was great to see both sides of the family this weekend and I'm sure Philip loved all the extra attention! :)

Aunt Lynn's Birthday

We went to our Aunt Lynn's 60th birthday barbeque on Saturday night. We forgot to bring a camera (d'oh!), but Aunt Deborah was kind enough to send us some pics! We had a great time and it was nice to see Paul's side of the family, including Aunt Carol who came all the way from California to celebrate! Happy birthday Lynn, and here's to many more! :)

Meet My Uncle Foon and His Kids

I finally got some pics of Philip with his Uncle Foon and cousins Winston and Brandon. Unfortunately, it was impossible to get them all to stay still in one shot so here they are in two separate shots, with Winston on the left and Brandon on the right. Aren't the two kids just splitting images of their daddy? :)

Three Months Old

Philip is now three months old, weighing in at 13 lb and 61 cm tall. Here are a few funny pics to celebrate 13 amazing weeks of parenthood! :)

Auntie Joanna's New Digs

We had quite a busy day yesterday as we went to visit Auntie Joanna's new condo after brunch. She's still in the process of renovating but it looks great so far! We especially like the view from her window... isn't it pretty? It looks like we'll be making a lot more trips to Centre Island from now on!

Meet My Cousin Morgan

Casey, Sam and Morgan came to visit from London, England so we got a chance to hook up for brunch yesterday. Philip was passed out for the most part, but he still enjoyed meeting his only female cousin! I'm sure the next time they meet they'll both be walking and hopefully he'll be a little more awake for it!

Finger Lickin' Good

It's amusing watching Philip suck his fingers. Sometimes he even tries to shove all four fingers or both hands in his mouth at the same time. We've been trying to stop the habit so lately he's been trying to "cover it up". Nice try baby, nice try.... hehe.

The Next Apprentice

I thought this was a funny pic of Philip sitting in his daddy's chair while holding a pretend cup of coffee. I wonder what the expression on his face means... think he's ready for the business world yet? :)

Philip has been really vocal this past month! He's always smiling, laughing, cooing and talking up a storm! His favourite game is what we call the "Arrr" game... hear our baby in action yourself!

I'm a Big Boy Now!

I'm afraid of Philip developing a flat head so I change his crib position on a regular basis. However, since he's such a growing boy, it looks like he won't be able to fit the width of the crib much longer!
